First visit to the Lone Oak Tavern. Upon entry we were warmly greeted and told to select our own seating. I was surprised to learn that the restaurant has a separate smoking section; although located at the back of the house, the strong smell of cigarette smoke permeated throughout the restaurant. (Note: Anyone with a strong aversion or allergy to cigarette smoke might do well to order take out instead of eating in). Our server, Kaitlyn, was extremely friendly and attentive. She offered good recommendations and insights about the menu. We ordered mozzarella sticks, a cheeseburger with fries, and a grilled Reuben with onion rings. Everything was fresh and delicious! Entrees were reasonably priced at approximately 12.50 each, although the price for mozzarella sticks was a bit high at 9.50 for 5-6 sticks. In all, we enjoyed our visit and will be back!

We stumbled on The Oak by accident and absolutely love it. The staff are friendly, anticipatory, and prompt. The food is delicious, both the entire platters and The standard bar food. This weekend I had chicken stuffed with sausage with sides of green beans and macaroni and cheese and it was the quality of a high-end restaurant not a roadside tavern. I highly recommend The Oak. PS sit in the back.

Quaint old tavern style bar. The wait staff were friendly. I had a hamburger french fries and a soda and it was a good value 18.00 23 out the door. I would recommend stopping there if you are on the highway it is easy to reach and easy to get back on. They must be good because they buried a McDonald's. There was a McDonald's across the street but it went out of business LOL

Do yourself a favor and eat here! Do yourself an extra favor and order the French dip sandwich. The french fries are top notch! Rarely do you see them fried so perfectly - nice and crispy! Excellent service, very friendly staff.

One of my local favorites! Staff is kind and friendly. The outdoor patio has great views and plays a good mix of music. Food is AMAZING! My favorites include the peel & eat shrimp, pasta alfredo with steak, and the mahi entree. But honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. And their specials are always a 10/10.

We got burgers with fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious. We love being able to sit outside and enjoy the view. Waitresses are always so nice. We love coming here.

Decent joint. Front half is non smoking. If you want the bar/tabern go through the swinging door. Good food, laid back atmosphere. There is outdoor seating. Good selection of drinks, and a straightforward sort of menu. Would definitely go again.
